Explorer Sergeant Monica Garcia joined the Aurora Police Explorers in January
of 2007. She was a graduate of Explorer Academy Class 07-01 were she
received the Top Performer Award for her excellence in both academic and
practical skills..
During her tenure with the Post she has served as a Field Training Explorer
and Explorer Agent. In 2009 she was promoted to the rank of Explorer
Sergeant and currently serves as a team supervisor.
Explorer Sergeant Garcia attended the 2008 Explorer Tactical Competition in
Chandler, Arizona and EXCON Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada and the 2008
LEEPAAC Leadership Academy.
Explorer Sergeant Garcia currently attends the University of Northern Colorado
in Greeley, Colorado.
